Lindy uses super soft merino wool sometimes blended with silk to felt around her 100% Vegan cold-press soaps. What you get is a hybrid soap washcloth which gently exfoliates. The soap lasts longer with the felt casing, and when it is gone you have a soft colorful felt pouch to keep using for skin exfoliation in the bath/shower – or you can just cut it open and use it as a pouch. Each cake is wire-cut, air-dried and aged to create a long-lasting soap for exceptional mildness. These soaps are lightly scented and mild for the most sensitive of skins.
Lucky Lou Lou is offering 15% off in her shop to Hybrid Rasta Mama & Becoming Crunchy readers for the next 2 weeks – just enter the code MAMA 15 at checkout.
Katrina is the lucky winner of What Can I Eat Now? The GAPS Intro eBook from Health, Home & Happiness!
Cara has done an outstanding job of putting together a GAPS resource that includes some basic background information about GAPS, including her suggestions for required reading prior to tackling this new lifestyle. Cara also discusses sourcing food, supplements, kitchen equipment, side effects, bulk food prep, and so much more. One of the greatest things about this eBook is that there is a list of what EXACTLY you can eat in each stage. That is very helpful to be able to refer to quickly. This really is THE go-to guide for GAPS.

Nushkie design pieces are created using the fiber art technique of Needle felting, wherein the artist uses a specialized needle to poke fibers hundred or thousands of times to sculpt the fleece into the desired shape. Her materials include organic wool, merino wool fibers, silk fiber and wire. There is no pre-fabricated base. The “canvas” or base is all wool fleece – wool which has been cleaned end carded (i.e., combed), but not spun into yarn. The only use of wire is for arms, legs tree branches, etc. The rest is natural fiber. All in all, a beautiful toy for your little one!
We hope you’ve enjoyed celebrating our Blogiversary as much as we have, and look forward to sharing many more posts and giveaways with you in the months and years to come. Please feel free to connect with both of us at any time – we love to hear from you!!
